Landing Light Strobe Controller
|
|
Olympic Aero Services has developed a landing light strobe controller to provide conspicuous lighting to meet US Forest Service requirements and is identified with the trade name Forest Service Strobe (FS Strobe).
This solid state MOSFET control module will strobe one or two landing lights (up to 2800W DC each). Unique external switches allow for easy strobe rate and phase sequence selection. Chassis mounted LEDs provide a clear and simple indication of how the module is configured by displaying the output signals.

| Voltage Regulator Unit (VRU)

The VRU has received FAA-STC/PMA for the Cessna 172, 182 and 206 aircraft. The VRU provides 12 VDC at 1.5A to an ARINC 628 connector installed in the center console. You can now power a variety of Portable Electronic Devices utilizing the aircraft electrical system. OAS can supply the ARINC connector adapter cable that plugs into the ARINC 628 connector and is terminated with a cigarette lighter outlet.

The VRU module is easily installed with a minimal amount of wires to run. The system is shipped complete with a brief Flight Manual Supplement, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, an Installation Manual and all the wiring and installation hardware.
Since the VRU module and system components are PMA'd they may be installed under a Field Approval that is coordinated with a local FSDO Inspector for other aircraft not included under the STC model effectivity.
